The new limit for blood pressure is 130/80, not 140/80. Not that it matters. Blood pressure, just like "high cholesterol," is a symptom, not an illness. It compensates for something else in the body. It also goes up during an inflammation, the urge to urinate, being nervous or upset etc. The "diagnosis" is part of the "madical" (sic!) Bermuda triangle, where victims (aka. patients) disappear:
