Noon (12:00 PM) is defined by the position of the Sun overhead, not by the Earth pointing in the same direction in space. In other words noon happens when the Sun is at its highest point in the sky for a particular location on Earth – which depends on Earth’s position relative to the Sun, not a fixed point in space.

Also, the Earth rotates once every 23 Hours, 56 minutes (a Sidereal Day),

not 24 hours exactly. The solar day (24 hours) is slightly longer because the Earth is also moving relative to the Sun.

Although what on earth is that flat earther nonsense? Are we ok with the elipsoid spiral orbit of a planet hurrying after it's star? And the concept of axial tilt? And unsure of the "rebel" founders meme too! Weren't they mostly lawyers & propertied men? 😂 I mean, is there irony in the fact that most presidents are distantly related to the British monarchy?
