Uhhh, no it's not true. The earth's axis is not at 66.6°, it's at 23.4°. Yes, I know that it's 90° - 23.4, but if you go more decimal places, it's actually 66.563°, not 66.6°.
If you are claiming the true axis tilt is 66.6°, it's completely wrong. That would mean that everywhere closer to the poles than 23.4° n/s would have permanent day and night at some point in the year. I can confirm this is not the case.
Face it y’all, Terry Pratchett was right: The world is a large wet dirt pizza on top of four bored elephants standing on top a giant turtle with glazed over eyes swimming through space to nowhere in particular. I miss Terry.
Also, if you DO want to get super accurate, is it really then 66.563? What about all the other trailing numbers after 3? So even 66.563 is not accurate..
Point it, all the numbers are suspect IMHO.
And even all those numbers assume the earth is a certain circumference and mass, etc. What do we really know for sure?
We’ve been lied to about basically everything, can’t see why this ‘theory’ can’t be one of the things too. Not a huge stretch of the imagination.
The Bible uses terms like ‘fixed’, ‘unmovable’ to describe earth. It sits on a ‘foundation’. Doesn’t sounds like a round spinning ball of water to me. Also ‘circular’ (not spherical), and ‘like a wax seal’. Make it make sense.
I get your point. However, we know the tilt of the earth by the angle of the sun in the sky, among, other observable phenomena. A verse in Job I noticed last week: Job 26:10 seems to describe the nature of the day-night cycle of a spherical earth.
Also, often wanted to ask an actual flat earther this, respectfully, how do you explain the seasons and timezones, considering I've seen them in action when travelling?
Imagine a plane about 6 hours flight from the north pole. It flies due north, over the pole, and back down (south) another 6 hours, lands basically 12 hours after taking off. Shouldn’t that plane land back on the same runway? If not, why, or why not?

From the start - heavy duty
The flat earth one is hilarious bullshit, but I respect the straws they somehow pulled out of their arse😂
That’s not a pro ‘flat-earth’ meme, just facts about the heliocentric theory that has never been proven…

End the fed!
I know it’s 66.563, but it rounds up.

Yeah, Eratosthenes lied to you.

I’m not a flat-earther, can’t help you.
