Thumbnail is for all you veterans out there, I salute you all, thank you for your sacrifice. For the record, not literally calling us pussies, but if we're honest here, civilian life's made us soft.
What happened to mosh pits? I don't understand. We used to put on steel toed boots and slam into each other as hard as possible. I feel like Heath Ledger's character in "The Dark Knight." Whuh-what happened? Uh, yer balls drop off? lmao
Broke a little toe in a mosh pit. Nothing’s ever been so hard on me as trying to ride green horses decades later 🤣. Obviously, I didn’t get the steel toe bit then. I was too busy running (dancing?) around in 1950s spiked toe pumps I scrounged up at vintage stores. Gorgeous shoes, AND I could then actually run in them. You couldn’t tear me away from my leather hiking boots now, which would likely serve me better in the pit. I lost shoes in those, unsurprisingly, but some kind lad would always retrieve them for me. Good times!
It was punk. Being punk meant going to mosh. Then it got sidelined as “oh they only do that at death metal concerts.” And then the death metal mosh pits got … polite? I am disappoint.
I liked punk, but I didn’t get into the mosh pits until heavy metal came on the scene. I have a picture of me after one, shirt shredded, bruises all over my arms and chest hahaha. No regrets though.
That Linux meme could be describing me. I'll have to remember that strategy the next time I get kidnapped.
"Fimally" on the last meme.... I hate it when memes have misspellings.
"Obvious Plant" makes a lot of joke packaging memes. The Misspelling is on purpose. After all, the product is supposedly made in China....
The disillusionment begins. Trump has been tapped to be a Trojan Horse.
RFK JR is all about food now, not Pharma. Absorbed and neutered by the System.
👏🤣

Oh, and ‘safety first.’ Yeah…

MOSH!!! ARGH! hehehe
An energy release for all that anger that music would generate.

Leathers, friend. Don’t do shreddable shirts.
