I did get up later than usual. My little crybaby, Queen of the house, couldn’t get me up and went to the 2nd in command, my daughter who let the dog out and then left the door open and went back to bed. Wondering why the dog was so quiet and why it was so cold inside, because she is usually relentless, found her outside so I did take her on a nice long walk. I think I redeemed myself.

The clowns, lmao!

I’m shopping for one of those clocks for my husband. It’s perfect😆

Hope your weekend is off to a good start Duke!

Yep, you can have a degree and still be an idiot.

The scariest, those who think they know it all yet can’t spell “it” then chastise you when you make obvious corrections.

Nothing ever wrong with a bologna sammich

Two cannibals are eating Amy Schumer. One says to the other, "Does this taste funny?"

The other replies, "No."

Good to see Larken thoughts.

She made a sammich, she good.

Not shown on map, Alaska, but they got all that oil money so good.

Shouldn't it be called a spreading glass door? jk

The CEO of my house sleeps on my bed and wakes me in due time. Just met someone with a splendid kitchen, immaculate, because never cooks in it. Compare to my messy kitchen with the burnt out burners.... Most docs took the vaxx'. Anyone trust them anymore? I have always been partial to Snoopy and now have my own, the CEO of the house! And a good one at that. Wolf! LOL

Living for others is a rule of nature.

EXACTLY. One example society is currently experiencing - not having children. This generation keeps delaying having children because they need to “live life” first. I am witnessing with my children and my friends children that the longer they avoid children the more selfish they become. Why? Children force you to think of others, to live for others and that is a good thing. While they are childless their goals are “what are we going to do this weekend?”

This is fun for maybe a short while but it will grow old. God made us to think of others and through this way of life we can be truly happy.

When we die the only things we will take with us are not our possessions but what we DID, our actions and their fruits.

Delaying or not having children is a desired outcome the commies have for us. One way they do this is by making a family home totally unaffordable for 90% of the child-bearing age population. This is what they do and Donnieboy is all in on it. 50 year mortgages are a weapon.

Of course foregoing all those expensive life experiences and fun weekends can really help with a down payment. Picking up a few extra shifts especially now that they won't tax them can help too. Same with doing your own finger nails, hair and eyelashes. Living with the same phone for a couple years. Not paying double for door dash and a $8 coffee every day.

There's tons of ways to pay a down payment where it's not 20%, but not only can they not do math, they are financially ignorant. If you're renting, you're paying someone else's mortgage. But you can't expect your first home to be a sprawling 3800 SF marble granite and hardwood beauty and someone to mow your lawn. I bought my first and only home at 50 and sold my plasma to pay down the debt I had. I drive the same car I bought used 15 years ago. I work with several 30 somethings that have nicer homes and newer cars and all the things. You know why? They learned to save when they were teens and their parents taught them about money. They went to school to learn a trade in demand, don't owe a ton in school debt and they work hard. Where there's a will, there's a way.

All you say is true Sue, but the deck is stacked against young adults these days in a way that my (boomer) generation did not have to contend with. I could elaborate but suffice it to say, this is by design.

Confusing education with intelligence… I agree with “Professor” Snoopy 100% on that. I work with some people who have at least 2 degrees but when push comes to shove & they try telling me how to do my job… Their stupidity shines through like a lighthouse beacon 🤨🤨🤨. Also… The “unhappy house CEO” eyeballing you as you wake up late… What dog owner HASN’T been on the receiving end of that look??? 🤭🐕

recently there was a discussion about vit. D. I, without any degrees, forwarded an article by someone who worked in the industry and how vit. D is made. Some degree person fwd me a few pages from a study book on how it should be made. Big difference.
