When microwaves became the big thing, I heard from a lady standing in line in front of me, that her doctor had warned her about them. She had anemia and he suspected that the microwaved food was the culprit. I only shortly had one, I noticed I had several signs of radiation disease when I used it. A friend wanted it, she had had one for years and hers had broken down, and said nothing was wrong with it. But I don't trust these things. (PS several sites say the ban was not complete, just a disadvise, that 40% of Russians nowadays have one. I think that is not much compared to other industrialized countries)

In 1976, the Soviet Union banned the microwave oven…” the brand name was Chernobyl. Then 10 years later boom.

Love these! Especially Alakablam and the female wolf. So much I could say about that one. Call it female intuition. Our men are fierce at protecting us but never doubt a woman’s 6 th sense.

My dad just died... made me remember my MIL who grew up in Pennsylvania coal mining country. If Dad (who worked the mines) died, was laid out on the kitchen table, the owner of the mine would show up and require the oldest son show up to replace dad the next day. Harsh.

We threw our last microwave oven in the trash over 10 years ago and bought a toaster oven.

One of the surgeons I used to work with had a photo album of foreign bodies he had to remove from people’s orifices. One was a quart size pickle jar from a man’s anus.

Surgeons have to take pictures of their work for some who aren’t aware for liability purposes, insurance, legal disputes, criminal cases, documentation of healing or deterioration in a patients condition. It’s noted in surgical consents.

Can you even imagine the damage that would happen to the patient if that quart size pickle jar had shattered ? The stories I’ve encountered!

The woman smiling & imagining you on fire… Would that be either Mrs Brady or Mrs Partridge being pushed beyond their breaking points I wonder??? 🤔😏😈

She’s famous as Georgette Baxter from Mary Tyler Moore TV show, 72-77. Real name Georgia Engel.

The “opener”… The zipper moment… A true nightmare for males worldwide 😬😵😵‍💫. I’ve had it happen to me & would rank the pain right up there on a similar level to kicking your shin on the towbar of your car 😳😳😳

Gerard, my mother always said it made way more sense for men to wear skirts 😀
