Peta pitiful! When people say we should not eat meat, I tell them what biology tells us: we have a mixed set of teeth, so are omnivores, not herbivores. There are several testimonies that chimps eat insects (I think even small mammals). Philia: indeed, when we live together in small clans, villages, tribes, we know everyone and we have a bond. Once that bond is broken, it is 'to each his own'. If it was known 2000 years ago, how come there are still these that do not know. Education failure!

🙋🏻♀️ I can vouch for that. My husband is Cuban. Left Cuba when he was five. The stories I have heard from his family are heart wrenching. Then his dad and uncle moved to Venezuela because they were cattle ranchers only to go through it again when Chavez took power. Now Venezuelans are being freed. We have Venezuelan friends in Puerto Rico and I have never seen a more happy and grateful bunch with whats happening.

My daughters share a room and they refuse to keep it clean. We’ve enacted all sorts of punishments but to no avail and it’s getting really frustrating for us. My mother said it’s because they share, if they had their own rooms they could be responsible for their own mess and never blame the other person for the mess or use her as an excuse to not clean, because “she just gets it messy again”. My husband replied that it was basically an analogy for why communism doesn’t work.
there is no communism in nature. when in doubt, always look at animals. Bees and ants seem to live in communism but they do have a queen, workers, etc. so very hierarchical there.
