Parents saved money, bought or built a house, and stayed together for life. Then everyone had to attend school till 18. No one wanted to work in a factory, and the jobs moved to low wages countries. Which one came first I don't know. Then countries had to hire foreigners to do the low income jobs. And then it went downhill and now we are where we are, with way too many strangers overflowing the countries.
