Been married 40 years. Had six sons. Stayed home when the first one was born.
Told my husband when we got engaged that I would stay home when the first one was born and I would live within whatever salary he had. Told him he wouldn’t hear one complaint from me.
The other day I sat down in front of him. He was listening to a podcast and drinking some coffee. He looked at my face and knew I wanted to say something. He slowly paused the podcast and put down his coffee. By his face he looked like he was waiting for some bad news. I told him that I wanted to thank him for everything he has done for me and our family. That we never lacked what we needed and it was because of him.
His face was priceless!!! I think his eyes watered just a bit. And THEN the manipulations began. “Since I am such a great guy then doesn’t this guy deserve a grand breakfast?”🤣
Re… Ghosts of Xmas past.
Was sitting with my Mom in law and a couple of her sisters. Old Ukrainian babas, with thick accents and the one old girl was almost deaf.
At the time I was renting an older house and there was some strange, really Strange things happening in the place. Things being moved, other strange physical phenomena happening. We started talking about ghosts… the older deaf aunt suddenly says. When I was young our neighbours down the road had Six of dem. The biggest one had horns!! We are all looking at her😳
My wife’s other aunt looks at her.
Turn your hearing aids up! They said ghosts not goats! 😂 priceless!
