I used to work right by that exit in Portland, I don’t remember it looking like that at the time but there were several 2 floored homeless set ups built. The garages must be new. It was really bad, a lot more than just those shacks built. There is a high school very close to that exit as well, the cops were literally arresting homeless tweakers jacking off in the Bush’s to high school kids. There was human shit all over the sidewalks, broken glass garbage and dirty needles everywhere. Hands down the most disgusting homeless encampment I’ve ever seen. The smell was disgusting, half naked people suffering walking around shoeless talking to themselves or screaming at the top of their lungs. The smell was so bad I threw up a couple times between the max stop and work. The truth is simply this, it doesn’t matter who we vote for, this problem continues to grow unless we take back what is ours, this is the truth I’ve come to realise. God Bless!!!!
