1 million years BC long time ago but I still remember it.

I also remember that walking in the garden, it’s where we got our first fact checker, Will you surely die?

Did you survive that cough syrup? or did you give it to someone else? LOL. They made strong stuff at the time. My mom just used to call on the doc (in person, we had no phone) and he would prescribe some good Pfizer terramicin. Almost as good as that stuff here. Got sicker and sicker...

For awhile I thought I was a youngster. Then I saw the roll of caps. And I thought about those happy days

Thank you Duke

We had square dancing in elementary school for PE and we did a demo at family night dressed like cowboy’s & girls. Including a holster & a cap gun. How times have changed. If my kids showed up at school with a toy gun they would be arrested.

You don’t have to even bring a gun, I read a few years back that a student had used their finger and thumb to imitate a gun and got suspended.

That’s true! My oldest son had an assignment once to make some sort of transportation vehicle out of cardboard paper towel roll with scissors and tape. I got a call from the principal that he made it into a gun. She was about to suspend him. He said it was a sailboat. He brought it home and showed me. Described the parts and the thing that was said to be a gun handle per my son was actually a mast and the sail. I called her the next day and gave her a piece of my mind that she was crazy & insulted and embarrassed my son. I pulled him out and we home schooled from that point on.

Good for you Chelie, that will surely turn out to be one of the greatest assets in his life. I love it mom.
