We rode for years. To my wife it was always the destination, I tried to make her understand it was the ride and the journey. That the journey is the destination. To busted up now and the knees won't hold up the bike her and me. Loved every mile that I rode. Thanks for all the memes and the smiles and laughs.

Strip mines became hill climbs and were ubiquitous in mid 70's middle Ohio. You really had to be a badass to do that for those micro-seconds of micro-gravity that ones gets when reaching the peak.

I remember watching hill climbs when I was younger, thinking the men who climbed.were a particular type of brave mixed with thrill-seeking. Later, I married a superbike racer, and my heart almost beat out of my chest each time he raced. When he would lean over so far that his elbow touched the track I held my breath.

The sheer fact is that I would never dream of telling how worried I was. He was flying at high speed, taking on the world. Like your first meme, we believe life should be one hell of a ride.

I've always said, life's not meant to be lived carefully.

No risk, no reward.
